FIRE ALARM COMMUNICATOR <br /> PROJECT NARRATIVE: <br /> This is a Two-Way Private Radio Alarm System Communicator, manufactured by AES Intellinet, <br /> utilizing a network owned by Guardian Security for the purpose of fire alarm monitoring. <br /> FUNCTION: <br /> Activation of an alarm, supervisory(if applicable), or trouble condition from the main fire alarm <br /> control panel shall cause the following actions: <br /> A. Transmit activated condition to the Central Station. <br /> B. Initiate specific condition response, per protocols. <br /> These actions are a one-time action, until the fire alarm control panel initiates a separate <br /> additional condition. <br /> SUPERVISION: <br /> The system is electrically supervised.Trouble conditions shall illicit a trouble condition, <br /> sounding a distinct audible signal and an English display of the specific trouble on the main fire <br /> alarm control panel,or via local piezo alarm, including but not limited to: a single open or <br /> ground in a supervised circuit, shorted signal circuit, antenna or signal loss, low or shorted <br /> battery or loss of AC power. <br /> These signals will continue until the trouble is corrected. <br /> SECONDARY POWER SUPPLY: <br /> The system includes a supervised, automatically recharged sealed battery to provide 24 hours <br /> of standby and 5 minutes of alarm during a primary power outage, per NFPA. <br /> GUARANTEE: <br /> The AES System will be warranted for a period of one year(minimum, dependent on contract <br /> requirements)from the date of installation being completed and the system being successfully <br /> tested by all authorities having jurisdiction.At the end of the guarantee period, we will offer to <br /> the customer either extended warranty contracts or provide on-going non-recurring service <br /> calls as needed. It is the customers' responsibility to ensure system maintenance and required <br /> testing is performed. <br /> (,l /S <br />
