1 ORDINANCE NO. _s>f 2 AN ORDINANCE amending the Zoning Map of the City of Everett, as provided by Everett 3 Municipal Code Title 19 (Ordinance 3572) 4 WHEREAS , the Planning Commission has held a public hear- 5 ing regarding rezoning of the hereinafter described property from 6 R-1 , Single-Family Low-Density Residence Zone to C-1, General 7 Commercial Zone, 8 WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Everett, after 9 hearing the recommendation of the Planning Commission of the City 10 of Everett, has determined that said property should be so re- 11 zoned and zoned C-1 12 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: 13 Section 1 : That the City Council of the City of Everett does hereby find that the zoning change 14 hereinafter set forth is in the best interest of the City of Everett. 15 Section 2 : That the zoning map of the City of 16 Everett, as established by Everett Municipal Code Title 19 (Ordinance 3572 , Section 4, as 17 amended) is hereby amended as follows : 18 The East 100 . 00 feet of the West 773 . 25 feet of that portion of Government Lot 4 , Section 7 , 19 Township 28 North, Range 5 East, N.M. lying South of SR 526 ; EXCEPT the South 30 feet thereof 20 for Casino Road situated in Snohomish County, State of Washington 21 now zoned R-1, Single-Family Low-Density Residential 22 is rezoned and is zoned C-1, General Commercial. 23 Section 3 : That the official map shall , upon the passage of this Ordinance, be amended by the City 24 Clerk, as hereinabove provided, and henceforth said property shall be used in accordance with the zone 25 in which the same is now established, as provided by Everett Municipal Code (Ordinance No. 3572) as 26 amended . 27 28 29 30 31 32
