• <br /> ORDINANCE NO. .377a -7J <br /> AN ORDINANCE levying the general taxes <br /> for the City of Everett for fiscal year commenc- <br /> ing January 1, 1976 on all taxable property, <br /> both real and personal, in said City, subject <br /> to taxation thereon, for the purpose of raising <br /> a portion of the revenue to carry on the dif- <br /> ferent departments of said City for the ensuing <br /> year, as required by the Charter of the City of <br /> Everett and the laws of the State of Washington; <br /> prescribing and apportioning the same into the <br /> different funds of said City for the fiscal year, <br /> and providing for the collection thereof . <br /> WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Everett duly and <br /> regularly adopted as required by law the estimate of the amounts <br /> required to meet the public expense of said City for the ensuing <br /> year and the amount to be raised by taxation in said City for <br /> said ensuing year from sources other than direct taxation, and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett will be required to pay the <br /> sum of $333, 027 . 50 during the year 1976 upon its General Obli- <br /> gation 1967 Street Improvement Bonds for payment of principal <br /> and interest, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That there be, and hereby is, levied upon real <br /> and personal property in the City of Everett, subject to tax- <br /> ation thereon, a general property tax for municipal purposes for <br /> the ensuing year commencing on January 1, 1976 , in the sum of <br /> $3 , 972 , 135. 49 allocated as follows : <br /> General Current Expense Fund $3 , 411, 663 .74 <br /> Firemen' s Pension Fund 227 , 444 . 25 <br /> Gen.Obligation 1967 Street Improvement <br /> Bond, Principal & Interest 333, 027 . 50 <br />
