1 ORDINANCE NO. ,q62J7-S/ 2 AN ORDINANCE, amending the Zoning Map of the City of Everett, as provided by Everett 3 City Code 19 . 04 . 040 (Ordinance 3572) 4 5 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public 6 hearing regarding rezoning of the hereinafter described property 7 from R-4 Multiple Family High Density Residence Zone to B-2 8 Community Shopping Zone, and 9 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett, after. 10 hearing the recommendation of the Planning Commission of the 11 City of Everett, has determined that said property should be 12 so rezoned and zoned B-2 13 14 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: 15 Section 1 . That the City Council of the City of 16 Everett does hereby find that the zoning change hereinafter set 17 forth is in the best interest of the City of Everett. 18 Section 2 . That the zoning map of the City of Everett, 19 as established by Everett City Code 19. 04 . 040 (Ordinance No. 20 3572, Section 4, as amended) is hereby amended as follows : 21 That portion of the South 1/2 of the Northeast 1/4 of the South- east 1/4 and the North 1/2 of the Southeast 1/4 of the Southeast 22 1/4 of Section 18 , Township 28 North, Range 5 East, W.M. , lying Easterly of SR-5; EXCEPT the East 330 feet thereof; and EXCEPT 23 that portion condemned in SC 96881 for SR-5 , and 24 The East 330 feet of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 18 , Township 28 North, Range 5 East, W.M. , EXCEPT the South 1/2 of the South- 25 east 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 thereof; AND, EXCEPT the North 1049 . 37 feet of the Northeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 thereof; 26 AND, EXCEPT SR-5, and EXCEPT SR-527 , is hereby rezoned and is Zoned B-2, Community Shopping. 27 28 Section 3. That the official zone map shall, upon the 29 passage of this Ordinance, be amended by the Department of 30 Community Development as-hereinabove provided, and henceforth 31 said property shall be used in accordance with the zone ' in which 32 the same is now established,
