1 ORDINANCE NO. ,q62J7-S/ <br /> 2 AN ORDINANCE, amending the Zoning Map of the <br /> City of Everett, as provided by Everett <br /> 3 City Code 19 . 04 . 040 (Ordinance 3572) <br /> 4 <br /> 5 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public <br /> 6 hearing regarding rezoning of the hereinafter described property <br /> 7 from R-4 Multiple Family High Density Residence Zone to B-2 <br /> 8 Community Shopping Zone, and <br /> 9 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett, after. <br /> 10 hearing the recommendation of the Planning Commission of the <br /> 11 City of Everett, has determined that said property should be <br /> 12 so rezoned and zoned B-2 <br /> 13 <br /> 14 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> 15 Section 1 . That the City Council of the City of <br /> 16 Everett does hereby find that the zoning change hereinafter set <br /> 17 forth is in the best interest of the City of Everett. <br /> 18 Section 2 . That the zoning map of the City of Everett, <br /> 19 as established by Everett City Code 19. 04 . 040 (Ordinance No. <br /> 20 3572, Section 4, as amended) is hereby amended as follows : <br /> 21 That portion of the South 1/2 of the Northeast 1/4 of the South- <br /> east 1/4 and the North 1/2 of the Southeast 1/4 of the Southeast <br /> 22 1/4 of Section 18 , Township 28 North, Range 5 East, W.M. , lying <br /> Easterly of SR-5; EXCEPT the East 330 feet thereof; and EXCEPT <br /> 23 that portion condemned in SC 96881 for SR-5 , and <br /> 24 The East 330 feet of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 18 , Township <br /> 28 North, Range 5 East, W.M. , EXCEPT the South 1/2 of the South- <br /> 25 east 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 thereof; AND, EXCEPT the North <br /> 1049 . 37 feet of the Northeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 thereof; <br /> 26 AND, EXCEPT SR-5, and EXCEPT SR-527 , is hereby rezoned and is <br /> Zoned B-2, Community Shopping. <br /> 27 <br /> 28 Section 3. That the official zone map shall, upon the <br /> 29 passage of this Ordinance, be amended by the Department of <br /> 30 Community Development as-hereinabove provided, and henceforth <br /> 31 said property shall be used in accordance with the zone ' in which <br /> 32 the same is now established, <br />
