1 ORDINANCE NO. -' ' 2 AN ORDINANCE, amending the Zoning Map of the City of Everett, as provided by Everett City Code 3 19. 04 . 040 (Ordinance 3572) 4 5 WHEREAS , the Planning Commission has held a public 6 hearing regarding rezoning of the hereinafter described property 7 from R-1 Single Family Low Density Residence Zone and B-1 Neigh- 8 borhood Shopping Zone, to R-3 Multiple Family Low Density Resi- 9 dence Zone, and 10 WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Everett, after 11 hearing the recommendation of the Planning Commission of the 12 City of Everett, and subsequent appeal of the applicant has 13 determined that said property should be so rezoned and zoned 14 R-3 . 15 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: 16 Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Everett 17 does hereby find that the zoning charge hereinafter set forth 18 is in the best interest of the City of Everett. 19 Section 2 . That the zoning map of the City of Everett, 20 as established by Everett City Code 19 . 04 . 040 (Ordinance No. 21 3572, Section 4 , as amended) is hereby amended as follows : 22 Lot 5 less the north 140 . 0 feet thereof ; the south half of Lot 6; Lots 7 , 8 , and 9 ; the north 118 . 205 23 feet of Lots 10 and 11, as measured along the east and west line thereof; all in the Plat of Lakeview 24 Subdivision, as recorded in Volume 11 of Plats, page 58 , Records of Snohomish County, Washington 25 is hereby rezoned and is zoned R-3 Multiple Family Low Density Residential. 26 Section 3 . That the official zone map shall, upon 27 the passage of this Ordinance, be amended by the City Clerk 28 as hereinabove provided, and henceforth said property shall 29 be used in accordance with the zone in which the same is now 30 established, as provided by Everett City Code 19 . 04 . 040 31 (Ordinance No. 3572) as amended. 32
