3 F.2, I ,di ORDINANCE NO. g/p'7,7 • AN ORDINANCE authorizing construction of an Operation Support Facility for the City of Everett, declaring the total estimated cost, 1 creating a special fund account and authorizing issuance of interim warrants for the financing 2 of said facility and declaring an emergency to exist, and repealing Ordinances No. 276-73, 254-73 3 and 301-74, and amending Ordinance No. 156-71. 4 WHEREAS , the City Council in Ordinances No. 156-71, 254-73, 5 276-73 and 301-74 authorized the City of Everett to construct an Operation 6 Support (Service) Facility to be built at the site of the present Water 7 Department shops , 8 9 WHEREAS, the City of Everett has constructed said facility at an 10 estimated cost of $1,423,035.59 and authorized Councilmatic Bonds based 11 on the existing credit of the City, 12 WHEREAS, the City Council desires to extend the time limits set 13 in Ordinance No. 156-71 for the issuance of interim warrants against the 14 Operation Support Facility Account, 15 NOW, THEREFORE , THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: 16 Section 1: Sections 2 and 4 of Ordinance No. 156-71 are hereby 17 amended as follows: 18 19 "Section 2: The total estimated cost of said facility including land acquisition, architect fees, facility 20 construction, perimeter street improvements and interim interest payments is $1,423,035.59. 21 Section 4: Pending the issuance of the bonds to be 22 authorized by the City Council, interim warrants may be issued against the Operation Support Facility 23 Account to bear interest at no more than six (6) 24 percent to be payable out of the proceeds of the sale of bonds until August 31, 1974." 25 Section 2: Ordinances No. 254-73, 276-73, 301-74 are 26 hereby repealed. 27 28 29 30 31 32
