Section 6 : (ECC 7 . 04 . 060) - Amendment of Code Provision- <br /> Section 1 .207 (b) - Inspections and Unsafe <br /> Buildings <br /> That Section 1.207 (b) of the 1973 Edition of the Uniform <br /> Fire Code , is hereby amended to read as follows : <br /> "Section 1.207 (b) Dangerous buildings or places defined <br /> and declared to be a nuisance, and standards of repair and <br /> correction or demolition. <br /> All buildings , structures , premises , places and yards which <br /> have any or all of the following conditions , shall be deemed <br /> dangerous buildings or places and are hereby declared to <br /> be a nuisance and shall be repaired, corrected, vacated, <br /> removed or demolished as hereinafter provided. <br /> (1) Dangerous or unlawful amounts of combustible or <br /> explosive or otherwise hazardous material; <br /> (2) Hazardous conditions arising from defective <br /> or improperly installed equipment for handling or <br /> using combustibles or explosives or otherwise <br /> hazardous materials; <br /> (3) Dangerous accumulations of rubbish, waste paper, <br /> boxes , shavings , underbrush or other highly flammable <br /> materials; <br /> (4) Accumulations of dust or waste material in air <br /> conditioning or ventilator systems or grease in <br /> kitchen or other exhaust ducts; <br /> (5) Obstructions to or on fire escapes , . stairs or <br /> passageways, doors , or windows , liable to interfere <br /> with the operations of the fire department or egress <br /> of the occupants in case of fire; <br /> (6) Any building or structure which by reason of <br /> age or dilapidated condition or for want of repair <br /> is especially liable to fire or spread of fire; <br /> -3- <br />
