3a 3 <br /> •ORDINANCE NO . - / <br /> 1 <br /> 2 AN ORDINANCE establishing a base or level datum for <br /> reference in establishing the grades of the various <br /> 3 streets, avenues, alleys, utilities and public <br /> places within the limits of the City of Everett; and <br /> 4 repealing Sections 1 and 2 of Ordinance 101 . <br /> 5 THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> 6 <br /> Section 1. Base or level datum established. <br /> 7 <br /> There is hereby established a base or level datum for the City of <br /> 8 <br /> 9 Everett for reference in establishing the grades of the various streets, avenues, <br /> 10 alleys, utilities and public places within the limits of said City, which said <br /> 11 base or level datum is an assumed horizontal plane situate below four <br /> 12 certain benchmarks which are hereby established at the points hereinafter <br /> 13 designated and at the elevations above said base or level datum hereinafter <br /> 14 <br /> set forth: <br /> 15 <br /> One on the north side of the campus of Everett Community College, <br /> 16 30.2 feet northeast of the northeast face of building <br /> 300 (Science Building) , 37.5 feet east of the northeast <br /> 17 corner of the building, 26.5 feet south of a cyclone fence <br /> 18 bounding the college and a golf course, a standard C & G S <br /> triangulation disk stamped "JAYCEE 1967" and being 205.11 <br /> 19 feet above the said base or level datum; one about 330 feet <br /> northeast of and along the Burlington-Northern Railroad station <br /> 20 on the north side of Hewitt Avenue, in the top and 1 .4 feet <br /> north of the south edge of the south end of the east concrete <br /> 21 abutment, 5.2 feet east of the west edge of the abutment, <br /> 8.7 feet southeast of the southeast rail of the upper tracks, <br /> 22 about 7 1/2 feet higher than Hewitt Avenue and 4 feet lower <br /> 23 than the track, a standard C & G S disk stamped "4 1934" and <br /> being 135.23 feet above the said base or level datum; one at <br /> 24 the South Junior High School near the southwest corner of <br /> the intersection of Rucker Avenue and 35th Street, in the north <br /> 25 concrete wall of the building, 1 .5 feet west of the northeast <br /> corner of the building, 31.0 feet south of the south curb of the <br /> 26 street, 1.7 feet above the ground, set flush vertically on <br /> 27 side of wall, a standard C & G S bench mark disk stamped <br /> "S 296 1947" and being 273.46 feet above the said base or level <br /> 28 datum; and one at about 500 feet west and 200 feet north of the <br /> intersection of 76th Street S .W. and Upper Ridge Road in south <br /> 29 Everett, 15 feet north of a fence enclosing a water tank reservoir, <br /> 70 feet northeast of the northwest corner fence post and 100 <br /> 30 feet northwest of the northeast corner fence post, a standard <br /> C & G S triangulation station disk set in the top of a concrete <br /> 31 post projecting 0.3 foot above ground stamped "BEVERLY 1941" <br /> 32 and being 717.77 feet above the said base or level datum; the <br />
