• • 1 (e) Any equipment transferred from the Water, Sewer and Sanitation 2 departments to the Equipment Rental Fund and declared to be surplus 3 to the needs of the City and not used by the transferring department 4 prior to such sale, shall have the proceeds of the sale credited to the 5 department originally owning said equipment. Section 6: Whenever a department of the City determines that a new type of 7 8 equipment is required to perform the functions of that department and the new 9 type of equipment does not replace an equipment unit substantially the same 10 in style and design, said department shall purchase said equipment and transfer 11 that unit to the Equipment Rental Fund at no charge to the Fund . 12 Section 7: Any expenditures from the Equipment Rental Fund shall be made in 13 accordance with required procedures. 14 Section 8: All moneys deposited in said Equipment Rental Fund and not expended 15 as provided herein shall remain in the fund from year to year and shall not be 16 17 transferred to any other fund or expended for any other purpose whatsoever. 18 Section 9: If, at any time hereafter, the City Council of the City of Everett 19 shall abolish said Equipment Rental Fund, then all moneys on deposit therein 20 shall revert to and be deposited in the several funds and departments participating 21 in the Equipment Rental Fund. 22 Section 10: This ordinance, when valid, repeals ordinances 4236 and 106-70 23 and any other ordinance or ordinances in conflict. 24 Section 11: That an emergency is hereby/declared to exist and this ordir-nce 25 shall take effect upon it becoming vali 4;2 6 t/vG �� !G C/ / MA- OR r'r2 .J _ G' 27 Attest: 28 29 City Clerk 30 Passed: 3...N)7 u S/ 31 Valid: 3 r 19- 7(,/ Published: 33(_ � _ ,y 32
