• • <br /> 1 (e) Any equipment transferred from the Water, Sewer and Sanitation <br /> 2 departments to the Equipment Rental Fund and declared to be surplus <br /> 3 to the needs of the City and not used by the transferring department <br /> 4 <br /> prior to such sale, shall have the proceeds of the sale credited to the <br /> 5 <br /> department originally owning said equipment. <br /> Section 6: Whenever a department of the City determines that a new type of <br /> 7 <br /> 8 <br /> equipment is required to perform the functions of that department and the new <br /> 9 type of equipment does not replace an equipment unit substantially the same <br /> 10 in style and design, said department shall purchase said equipment and transfer <br /> 11 <br /> that unit to the Equipment Rental Fund at no charge to the Fund . <br /> 12 Section 7: Any expenditures from the Equipment Rental Fund shall be made in <br /> 13 <br /> accordance with required procedures. <br /> 14 <br /> Section 8: All moneys deposited in said Equipment Rental Fund and not expended <br /> 15 <br /> as provided herein shall remain in the fund from year to year and shall not be <br /> 16 <br /> 17 transferred to any other fund or expended for any other purpose whatsoever. <br /> 18 Section 9: If, at any time hereafter, the City Council of the City of Everett <br /> 19 shall abolish said Equipment Rental Fund, then all moneys on deposit therein <br /> 20 shall revert to and be deposited in the several funds and departments participating <br /> 21 in the Equipment Rental Fund. <br /> 22 <br /> Section 10: This ordinance, when valid, repeals ordinances 4236 and 106-70 <br /> 23 <br /> and any other ordinance or ordinances in conflict. <br /> 24 Section 11: That an emergency is hereby/declared to exist and this ordir-nce <br /> 25 shall take effect upon it becoming vali <br /> 4;2 6 t/vG �� !G C/ / <br /> MA- OR r'r2 .J _ G' <br /> 27 <br /> Attest: <br /> 28 <br /> 29 City Clerk <br /> 30 <br /> Passed: 3...N)7 u S/ <br /> 31 Valid: 3 r 19- 7(,/ <br /> Published: 33(_ � _ ,y <br /> 32 <br />
