4 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2,91-25/ <br /> AN ORDINANCE establishing minimum require- <br /> ments for the protection of life, limb, <br /> health, property, safety and welfare of <br /> the general public and the owners and occu- <br /> pants of residential buildings, and for <br /> said purpose providing for the adoption of <br /> the 1973 Edition of the "Uniform Housing <br /> Code, " as prepared by the International Con- <br /> ference of Building Officials. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett now has on file in the <br /> office of the City Clerk at the City Hall and has had on <br /> file for some time prior hereto for examination by the <br /> public three (3) copies of the 1973 Edition of the "Uni- <br /> form Housing Code, " as prepared by the International <br /> Conference of Building Officials in compliance with the <br /> laws of the State of Washington (RCW 35.21.180) and the <br /> Charter of the City of Everett (Section 3 . 5) . <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: <br /> The 1973 Edition of the "Uniform Housing Code, " <br /> as prepared by the International Conference of Building <br /> Officials , which by this reference is made part of this <br /> ordinance as though set forth fully at length herein, <br /> be and hereby is adopted as the housing code and ordinance <br /> of the City of Everett establishing minimum requirements <br /> for the protection of life, limb, health, property, safety <br /> and welfare of the general public and the owners and occu- <br /> pants of residential buildings . <br /> Section 2 : <br /> That three (3) copies of said 1973 Edition of the <br /> "Uniform Housing Code," as prepared by the International <br /> Conference of Building Officials shall be left on file <br /> with the City Clerk of the City of Everett for use and <br /> examination by the public in compliance with the laws of <br /> the State of Washington (RCW 35. 21.180) and the Charter <br /> of the City of Everett (Section 3 . 5) . <br />
