The following statutes are 4 hereby adopted by reference: 5 RCW 46.44.095 Additional gross load - Fee, as amended by Section 3 of Chapter 150, Laws of 6 1973, 1st Ex. Session. RCW 46.44.096 Determining fee - To whom paid, as amended 7 by Section 4 of Chapter 248, Laws of 1971, 1st Ex. Session 8 RCW 46.44.097 Misrepresentation and violations - 9 Penalty, Cancellation - Time limit on issuance of new permit,as amended by Section 1 of 10 Chapter 249, Laws of 1971, 1st Ex. Session." 11 Section 8. Section 151 of Ordinance No. 123-71 is hereby amended 12 to read hereafter as follows: 13 "Section 151 46.44.120 Liability of owners, others, for violations. 14 Whenever an act or omission is declared to be unlawful in 15 Chapter 46.44 R.C.W. , the owner of any motor vehicle involved in such act or omission shall be responsible 16 therefor. Any person operating such vehicle, and any persons knowingly and intentionally participating in 17 creating an unlawful condition of use, shall also be 18 subject to the penalties provided in this chapter for such unlawful act or omission." 19 Section 9.
