• 1 Section 3: In the sections of the City of Everett ordinances and of the 2 3 Everett City Code (E.C .0 .) specified in Section 4 of this ordinance, the 4 penalties specified in these sections shall be amended as follows: 5 "Any person violating any of the provisions or failing to comply with any of the mandatory requirements of this 6 ordinance [Everett City Code Chapter] shall upon conviction of 7 such violation or failure be punished by a fine of not more than $500.00 or by imprisonment not to exceed six (6) months, 8 or by both such fine and imprisonment. Each day that such violation continues to exist shall be deemed to be a 9 separate offense." 10 Section 4: The amendment in Section 3 shall be applicable to the 11 following City of Everett ordinance section or sections of the Everett City 12 Code (E.C.C .): 13 Section 24 of Ordinance No. 3880 (E .C .C . Section 2.18.250) 14 Lawn Sprinkler Installation 15 Section 13 of Ordinance No. 4224 (E.C .C . Section 2.24.140) Dangerous Building 16 17 Section 18 of Ordinance No. 4321 (E.C.C. Section 2 .48.17 0) Wharves and Wharfingers 18 19 Section 11 of Ordinance No. 70-70 (E .C.C. Section 2.52.110) Billboards 20 21 Section 3 of Ordinance No.3434 (E .0 .0 . Section 6.02.030) Abandoned Ice Box 22 Section 22 of Ordinance No. 3572 (E.C.0 . Section 15.04.440) 23 Zoning 24 Section 5: That Section 4 of Ordinance No. 4022 (E.C.C . Section 2.40.040 25 - Fences) is amended as follows: 26 "Penalty for violations. Any person, persons, companies 27 or corporations violating any of the provisions of this chapter by maintaining or erecting a barbed wire or 28 electric fence within the city, as set forth in this ordinance shall upon conviction be punished by a fine of not to 29 exceed five hundred dollars or imprisonment for a period 30 not to exceed six (6) months or by both fine and imprisonment." 31 32 -4-
