Our findings <br /> are as follows: <br /> Detail 3/S2 limits the maximum height of the stemwall to 12 ft. It is our understanding that the actual <br /> height of the wall will be 14-15 ft. <br /> The footing width is 28 inches. The stemwall will receive even backfill, with less than a 4 ft difference in <br /> soil height. <br /> At the lower corner (area where the wall will be over 12 ft), the calculated total load (DL + LL) on the <br /> footing is 3610 plf, with a 15 ft tall stemwall. The allowable bearing capacity of the 28 inch wide footing is <br /> 4670 plf. As such, no further corrective measures are required.
