1 of Everett from the taxpayer for any tax provided hereunder shall be outlawed <br /> 2 <br /> after the expiration of three (3) years and the right of recovery against the <br /> 3 <br /> City of Everett because of overpayment of tax by any taxpayer shall be out- <br /> 4 <br /> 5 lawed after the expiration of three (3) years after which time the taxpayer <br /> 6 shall have no right of recovery against the City of Everett. <br /> 7 Section 15: Violations - Penalty. Any person violating or failing <br /> 8 to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter or any lawful rule or <br /> 9 regulation adopted by the City Treasurer pursuant thereto, upon conviction <br /> 10 thereof, shall be punished by a fine in any sum not to exceed Three Hundred <br /> 11 <br /> Dollars ($300.00) , or by imprisonment in jail for a term not exceeding ninety <br /> 12 <br /> (90) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. <br /> 13 <br /> 14 Section 16: Severability: If any provision or section of this chapter <br /> 15 shall be held void or unconstitutional all other parts, provisions and sections <br /> 16 of this chapter not expressly so held to be void or unconstitutional shall <br /> 17 continue in full force and effect. <br /> 18 Section 17: On the effective date of this ordinance, the provision <br /> 19 of Everett City Code Chapter 6.84 (Ordinance No. 211-72) and Everett City <br /> 20 <br /> Code Chapter 4.72 (Ordinance No. 205-72) are hereby repealed. <br /> 21 <br /> Section 18: This ordinance shall take effect on July 16, 1973. <br /> 22 <br /> 23 CITY OF EVERETT <br /> 24 <br /> 25 MAYOR <br /> ATTEST <br /> 26 L_ <br /> 27 �� <br /> City 1 rk <br /> 28 <br /> 29 Passed: ' '-x_-ty_ /C, / /'7 3 <br /> 30 Valid: l y7 J <br /> 31 Published: - <br /> 32 <br /> -a- <br />
