ORDINANCE N0 . D rr., <br /> AN ORDINANCE providing for the vacation of a portion of <br /> California Avenue lying West of Federal, Alley <br /> 1 in Block 674 Plat of Everett, Hewitt Avenue <br /> West of Terminal, and a portion of Federal <br /> 2 adjacent to Block 674, <br /> 3 WHEREAS, by resolution No. 660 of the City of Everett, the <br /> 4 City Council has declared its intentions to vacate said streets and <br /> 5 alley, and <br /> 6 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett did by resolution <br /> 7 duly adopted, fix the 31st day of January 1973 at 10:00 o'clock A.M. <br /> 8 of said day for the hearing and determination of the said Resolution, <br /> 9 and, <br /> 10 WHEREAS, due and legal notice of the time and place of said <br /> 11 hearing and the determination of said Resolution has been given by <br /> 12 the City Clerk prescribed by law, and, <br /> 13 WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for hearing favorable <br /> 14 statements and objections to the vacating of the herein described <br /> 15 streets and alley were heard and discussed, and, <br /> 16 <br /> WHEREAS, it now appears to the City Council of the City of <br /> 17 <br /> Everett, that the portions of said streets and alley;:reso.lved `to`be <br /> 18 <br /> vacated should be vacated, <br /> 19 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> 20 Section 1: That the streets and alley of the City of Everett, County <br /> 21 of Snohomish, State of Washington, described as follows : <br /> 22 PARCEL A: <br /> 23 <br /> Beginning at theNortheast corner of Block 674, Plat of <br /> 24 Everett, Division C; thence Easterly along the Easterly <br /> projection of the North line of said Block 674 a distance of <br /> 25 10.0 feet to the true point of beginning; thence Southerly 10.0 <br /> feet Easterly and parallel to the Easterly line of said Block <br /> 674 a distance of 25.38 feet; thence on a curve to the right <br /> 26 having a radius of 272.0 feet and a central angle of 41° 03'30" <br /> 27 to a point of intersection with the Easterly line of said <br /> Block 674; thence Northerly along the Easterly line of said <br /> 28 Block 674 a distance of 98.45 feet to the Northeast corner <br /> of said Block 674.; thence Westerly along the North line of <br /> 29 said Block 674 a distance of 120 feet to the Easterly line <br /> of an alley in said Block 674; thence Southerly along the <br /> 30 Easterly line of said alley a distance of 276.48 feet to a <br /> point of intersection with the Northwesterly line of Terminal <br /> 31 Avenue; thence S 41°03'30" W along the Northwesterly line of <br /> Terminal Avenue a distance of 18.26 feet to a point of <br /> 32 <br />
