• ORDINANCE NO. 1 AN ORDINANCE providing for the vacation of a portion of Lynnewood Drive lying in Replat of Darlington Lot X in 2 exchange for a more desirable street alignment. 3 WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 618 of the City of Everett, 4 the City Council has declared its intentions to vacate said 5 street, and, 6 7 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett did 8 by resolution duly adopted, fix the 25th day of April, 1973, 9 at 7: 00 P.M. of said day, for the hearing, and determination 10 of said Resolution, and, 11 WHEREAS, due and legal notice of the time and place of 12 said hearing and determination of said Resolution has been 13 given by the City Clerk in the manner prescribed by law, 14 and, 15 16 WHEREAS , at the time and place fixed for hearing 17 favorable statements and objections to the vacating of the 18 herein-described street were heard and discussed, and, 19 WHEREAS , it now appears to the City Council of the 20 City of Everett, that the portion of said street resolved 21 to be vacated should be vacated, 22 23 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: 24 All of that portion of the platted right-of-way of Lynnewood Drive, according to the Re-Plat of 25 Lot X Darlington as recorded in Volume 9 of Plats on page 50, Records of Snohomish County Washington, 26 lying westerly of a 50-foot strip of land of which the centerline is described as follows: Beginning at 27 a point of tangency on the platted centerline of Lynnewood Drive , said point bears N27° 39 ' 14" E 201. 60 28 feet from the platted centerline angle point at Lot 14; thence southerly along the arc of a 383. 88 foot 29 radius curve to the left for 371. 27 feet and con- taining a central angle of 55° 24' 49" to an inter- 30 section with the platted centerline of Lynnewood Drive, said centerline intersection bears 31 S 27° 45 ' 35" E 201. 60 feet from the platted center- line angle point at Lot 14 , 32
