M • J. <br /> • <br /> • • • • ,� s• <br /> ORDINANCE NO. :..? -_73,) -? <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending the Zoning Map of the City of <br /> Everett, as provided by Everett City Code 15.04.040 <br /> (Ordinance No. 3572) entitled: "An Ordinance regulating <br /> and restricting the location and use of buildings and land <br /> within the City of Everett; limiting the height of build- <br /> 1 ings; prescribing building line and size of yard and other <br /> open spaces; providing for the division of the City into <br /> 2 use zones; creating the Board of Adjustment; and providing <br /> for penalties for violation of the Ordinance; repealing Ord. <br /> 3 No. 222-73 and declaring an emergency to exist. <br /> 4 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett, upon the recommendation <br /> 5 of the Planning Commission of the City of Everett, has determined that the <br /> 6 area hereinafter described should be rezoned and zoned B-2 Community Shopping <br /> 7 Zone, and such zoning will be in harmony with the Comprehensive Plan of Land <br /> 8 Use for the City of Everett. <br /> 9 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> 10 Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Everett does hereby concur <br /> 11 in the findings of the Planning Commission and does hereby find that the change <br /> 12 hereinafter set forth is in the best interest of the City of Everett, and will <br /> 13 not be in conflict with the Comprehensive Plan of Land Use of the City of <br /> 14 Everett. <br /> 15 Section 2: That the zone map of the City of Everett, as established by <br /> 16 Everett City Code 15.04.040 (Ordinance No. 3572, Section 4) is hereby amended <br /> 17 as follows: <br /> 18 Lots 23 through 32, Block 15, and Lots 2 through 10 and 24 through 32, <br /> 19 Block 16, of South Park Addition be zoned from R-4 Multiple Family High Density <br /> 20 Residence Zone to B-2 Community Shopping Zone. <br /> 21 Section 3: That the official zone map shall, upon the passage of this <br /> 22 Ordinance, be amended by the City Clerk, as hereinabove provided, and hence- <br /> 23 forth said property shall be used in accordance with the zone in which the <br /> 24 same is now established, as provided by Everett City Code 15.04.040 (Ordinance <br /> 25 3572) as amended. <br /> 26 <br /> 27 <br /> 28 <br /> 29 <br /> 30 <br /> 31 <br /> 32 <br />
