AN ORDINANCE amending the Zoning Map of the City of Everett, as provided by Everett City Code 15.04.040 (Ordinance No. 3572) entitled: "An Ordinance regulating and restricting the location and use of buildings and land within the City of Everett; limiting the height of build- 1 ings; prescribing building line and size of yard and other open spaces; providing for the division of the City into 2 use zones; creating the Board of Adjustment; and providing for penalties for violation of the Ordinance; repealing Ord. 3 No. 222-73 and declaring an emergency to exist. 4 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett, upon the recommendation 5 of the Planning Commission of the City of Everett, has determined that the 6 area hereinafter described should be rezoned and zoned B-2 Community Shopping 7 Zone, and such zoning will be in harmony with the Comprehensive Plan of Land 8 Use for the City of Everett. 9 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: 10 Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Everett does hereby concur 11 in the findings of the Planning Commission and does hereby find that the change 12 hereinafter set forth is in the best interest of the City of Everett, and will 13 not be in conflict with the Comprehensive Plan of Land Use of the City of 14 Everett. 15 Section 2: That the zone map of the City of Everett, as established by 16 Everett City Code 15.04.040 (Ordinance No. 3572, Section 4) is hereby amended 17 as follows: 18 Lots 23 through 32, Block 15, and Lots 2 through 10 and 24 through 32, 19 Block 16, of South Park Addition be zoned from R-4 Multiple Family High Density 20 Residence Zone to B-2 Community Shopping Zone. 21 Section 3: That the official zone map shall, upon the passage of this 22 Ordinance, be amended by the City Clerk, as hereinabove provided, and hence- 23 forth said property shall be used in accordance with the zone in which the 24 same is now established, as provided by Everett City Code 15.04.040 (Ordinance 25 3572) as amended. 26 27 28 29 30 31 32
