Page 2 <br /> B. Ambulance Service shall mean any person who operates an ambulance <br /> within the City of Everett which meets standards as described <br /> in Section 2 herein which repeatedly conveys injured or sick <br /> patients. <br /> C. Ambulance Attendant shall mean an individual, including drivers, <br /> certified in accordance with Section 9B. <br /> D. Conditional Ambulance Attendant shall mean an individual certified <br /> in accordance with Section 9C (3) . <br /> E. Patient shall mean an individual who is sick, injured, wounded <br /> or otherwise incapacitated or helpless. <br /> F. Person shall mean any individual, firm partnership, association, <br /> corporation, company, group of individuals acting together for <br /> a common purpose or organization of any kind, including any <br /> governmental agency other than the United States of the State of <br /> Washington or Snohomish County. <br /> G. Emergency First Aid (Aid Car) Service shall mean any civil, <br /> volunteer, or fee for service agency providing first aid service <br /> within the City of Everett, but not providing victim transportation, <br /> excluding mountain rescue squads and/or ski patrol. <br /> H. License Officer shall mean the Mayor of Everett or his designess <br /> who shall administer and enforce the requirements of this <br /> Ordinance. <br /> I. Advisory Committee shall mean a committee as defined in Section 7. <br /> Section 2: Licenses required for ambulance service and certain emergency <br /> first aid services. <br /> A. No person shall operate an ambulance service and/or emergency <br /> first aid service unless he obtains an Operator's License from <br /> the City Council of the City of Everett, which license must be <br /> renewed every year. The license shall not be issued or renewed <br /> unless: <br /> (1) the applicant has fulfilled all requirements of this <br /> Ordinance including the consent of inspections as required and <br /> any applicable statutes of the State of Washington concerning <br /> the safety of the ambulance and/or emergency first aid vehicle, <br /> and <br />
