May 22, 2019 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 12:30 p.m., May 22, 2019, in the City Council Chambers of the <br /> William E. Moore Historic City Hall, Council President Bader presiding. <br /> Upon roll call, it was found that Mayor Franklin and Council Members <br /> Roberts, Murphy, Vogeli, Bader, Stonecipher, and Tuohy were present. <br /> Council Member Moore was expected to be late. <br /> Council Member Moore entered the Council chambers at 12:31 p.m. <br /> President Bader led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the May 15, 2019, City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> APPOINTMENTS <br /> Moved by Council Member Stonecipher, seconded by Council Member <br /> Tuohy, to concur with the following appointments: <br /> Animal Shelter Advisory Board <br /> Appointment of Lindsay Ellsworth to Position 2 for the remainder of <br /> a six-year term ending December 31, 2020. <br /> Appointment of Jennifer Ward to Position 7 for the remainder of a <br /> six-year term ending December 31, 2023. <br /> Appointment of Sarah Hartwell to Position A-2 for the remainder of a <br /> six-year term ending December 31, 2022. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Mayor Franklin distributed a letter to council members, which was sent to <br /> members of the Sound Transit Board today. The Mayor expressed concern <br /> about substantial changes to the light rail project scope and delivery <br /> 153 <br />
