ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE concerning the City's Shoreline Public Access Plan, <br /> repealing Ordinance No. 2692-03 <br /> WHEREAS,the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 2692-03 on May 21, 2003, <br /> approving a Shoreline Public Access Plan(Plan); and <br /> WHEREAS,the Plan does not need to be adopted by ordinance but instead can be <br /> adopted by resolution; and <br /> WHEREAS, adopting and amending the Plan by resolution rather than by ordinance <br /> provides the City with more flexibility to timely address changed circumstances and <br /> unforeseen opportunities; and <br /> WHEREAS, concurrent with this Ordinance,the City Council intends to adopt a revised <br /> Shoreline Public Access Plan by resolution and to amend the Plan from time to time by <br /> resolution. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: The City Council repeals Ordinance No. 2692-03. <br /> CAS SIE FRANKLIN,MAYOR <br /> ATTEST: <br /> SHARON FULLER, CITY CLERK <br /> Passed: <br /> Valid: <br /> Effective: <br /> Published: <br /> 2 <br />
