City of Everett Human Needs Grant <br /> January 1 through December 31, 2018 <br /> Arc of Snohomish County <br /> Independent Living, Developing Self-Advocacy, and Connecting Families <br /> EXHIBIT A: Program Summary <br /> (Insert summary of services to be provided.) <br /> The Arc is the resource of first choice for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families, <br /> regardless of the diagnosis and at all stages of life. <br /> These three very important program opportunities give support to people with disabilities and their <br /> families for a lifespan through educational opportunities,family&sibling support, activities in the <br /> community, system's navigation and advocacy. Besides our ongoing workshops,support groups, <br /> activities and speaker nights we also support families through phone conversations and one on one <br /> appointments. The Arc of Snohomish County is also very active in their community and distributes <br /> information at numerous Resource Fairs and events in both the community and within our Schools. <br />
