Community Transit may by written notice, at any time— <br /> (A) Increase or decrease the amount of Government-furnished property under this contract; <br /> (B) Substitute other Government-furnished property for the property previously furnished, to <br /> be furnished, or to be acquired by the Contractor for the Government under this contract; or <br /> (C)Withdraw authority to use property. <br /> Schedule for Delivery <br /> Community Transit will provide a schedule for delivery of government-furnished property. <br /> Performance dates specified in this contract are based upon the expectation that the <br /> Government-furnished property will be suitable for contract performance and will be <br /> available for pickup by the Contractor by the dates stated in the schedule. <br /> If the property is not available to the Contractor by the dates stated in the schedule, <br /> Community Transit, upon the Contractor's timely written request, will consider an equitable <br /> adjustment to the contract. In the event government-furnished property is received by the <br /> Contractor in a condition not suitable for its intended use, Community Transit will, upon the <br /> Contractor's timely written request, advise the Contractor on a course of action to remedy <br /> the problem. Such action may include repairing, replacing, modifying, returning, or <br /> otherwise disposing of the property at the Community Transit's expense. Upon completion <br /> of the required action(s), Community Transit may consider an equitable adjustment to the <br /> contract. <br /> Storage of Materials <br /> Store government-furnished property in a manner to prevent damage and facilitate <br /> inspection, leaving seals, tags and labels intact and legible. Protect products which would <br /> be affected by adverse environmental conditions in accordance with the manufacturers' <br /> recommendations. <br /> Store material where suitable security can be provided in accordance with other portions of <br /> this specification. Do not remove items from storage until they are to be incorporated into <br /> Work. <br /> 1-07 LEGAL RELATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES TO THE PUBLIC <br /> Section 1-07.0 is added as follows: <br /> 1-07.0 Funds <br /> A combination of Local, State and Federal-Aid (FTA Small Starts Grant) funds will be <br /> used to construct this project. <br /> 1-07.1 Laws to be Observed <br /> (October 1, 2005 APWA GSP) <br /> Supplement this section with the following: <br /> In cases of conflict between different safety regulations, the more stringent regulation shall <br /> apply. <br /> Swift Green Line—Corridor Stations Special Provisions SP36 <br /> May 2017 <br />
