Section 1-07.1 is supplemented with the following: <br /> (December 2016 CT GSP) <br /> Changed Requirements <br /> New federal, state and county laws, regulations, ordinances, policies and administrative <br /> practices may be established after the date this contract is established and may apply to <br /> this contract. To achieve compliance with changing requirements, the Contractor agrees to <br /> accept all changed requirements that apply to this contract and require subcontractors to <br /> comply with revised requirements as well. <br /> Contractor's Accident Prevention Program (APP) and Site-Specific Health and Safety <br /> Plan NEW <br /> The Contractor shall submit a copy of their Accident Prevention Program (APP) and a Site- <br /> Specific Health and Safety Plan to Community Transit prior to starting construction. <br /> A. Contractor's Accident Prevention Program (APP) in accordance with WAC 296-24- <br /> 040 and WAC 296-155-110. <br /> B. A Site-Specific Health and Safety Plan covering all aspects of the Contractor's work <br /> activities related specifically and distinctly to the Work. At a minimum, the plan shall <br /> be based on a site-specific hazard analysis and will address the requirements of <br /> WAC 296 where applicable to the Work. <br /> The Contractor shall submit the APP and the Site-Specific Health and Safety Plan to <br /> Community Transit and, as required by law, to applicable regulatory agencies. Any review <br /> comments forwarded to Community Transit, by any reviewing agencies, shall be considered <br /> and incorporated into the APP and the Site-Specific Health and Safety Plan as required to <br /> bring the APP and the Site-Specific Health and Safety Plan into compliance with the <br /> Contract Documents. <br /> The APP and the Site-Specific Health and Safety Plan must be approved by Community <br /> Transit for compliance with the requirements of this Section prior to the start of work. The <br /> Contractor is responsible for ensuring that its employees and the subcontractors' <br /> employees comply with the APP and Site-Specific Health and Safety Plan. Copies of the <br /> accepted APP and the Site-Specific Health and Safety Plan shall be posted at the <br /> Contractor's job site office and at each of the subcontractors' offices. <br /> The Contractor shall designate a qualified health and safety supervisor/officer onsite with <br /> responsibility and full authority to coordinate, implement and enforce the Contractor's APP, <br /> Site-Specific Health and Safety Plan, Hazardous Materials Health and Safety Plan for the <br /> duration of this Contract. The name and telephone number of the Contractor's safety <br /> supervisor and the full-time Project Superintendent, shall appear in the APP. <br /> Community Transit reserves the right to audit the Contractor's APP and implementation of <br /> Site-Specific Health and Safety Plan. Community Transit reserves the right to stop that <br /> portion of the Contractor's Work that is determined to be an imminent or immediate threat <br /> to worker health or safety. Ongoing work that is considered a safety or health risk by <br /> Community Transit shall be corrected immediately. The Contractor shall notify the CA <br /> immediately of all accidents, and if injuries are fatal or require medical attention away from <br /> job site. <br /> Swift Green Line—Corridor Stations Special Provisions SP38 <br /> May 2017 <br />
