SUBMITTALS <br /> A. Product Data: For each type of product indicated, include operating characteristics, <br /> manufacturer's technical data, furnished equipment and services, and accessories. <br /> Reference each product to a location on the Design Drawings. <br /> B. Design and Shop Drawings: Provide a complete set of design and construction drawings <br /> which include the following: <br /> • Cabling diagrams. <br /> • Detailed wiring diagrams showing connector pin-outs where applicable. <br /> • All drawings shall be updated/revised to "as-built" conditions when installation work <br /> is complete. <br /> EXTRA MATERIALS <br /> Any extra materials required shall meet the following minimum requirements: <br /> 1. Shall be new, in unused condition. <br /> 2. Packaged in protective covering for storage, and identified with labels describing <br /> contents. Extra materials shall be in original manufacturer's packaging, where <br /> practical. <br /> 3. Inspected materials prior to delivery to CT. Replace any damaged or improper <br /> material. <br /> 4. Furnish inventory list of extra materials furnished with an inventory list which shall be <br /> in printed and provided as a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet file. <br /> GENERAL INSTALLATION SPECIFICATIONS <br /> A. Physical installation shall be in accordance with manufacturers' instructions. <br /> B. Maintain a secure, clean and conditioned space throughout the installation process. <br /> Where dust, dirt or moisture generating environment is anticipated or encountered after <br /> start of installation of equipment, take all necessary precautions to protect existing and <br /> new equipment. <br /> C. Contractor shall install communication conduit from the station to the service connection <br /> as shown on the plans including installing riser conduit on service pole. The <br /> communications service provider, Verizon, will be responsible for pulling wire from the <br /> service connection to the station. <br /> D. Communication service conduit runs shall not exceed 270 degrees in bends without using <br /> a junction box. <br /> E. Identify cables with wire markers, North or South, SAFTP or Sign (Examples: 1N SAFTP <br /> (1st cable for the North end SAFTP) or 2 SIGN (2nd cable for the Sign). <br /> TESTING AND COMMISSIONING <br /> A.
