Please review and <br /> respond to the comments below. <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the <br /> Building Division with two new sets of revised construction documents reflecting the corrections <br /> requested. Please include a response letter which indicates how the corrections were resolved. <br /> General <br /> 1. The location of the roof-top make-up air unit and distance to the exhaust fan unit, type I <br /> hood and property lines, should be shown on the plans. IMC Section 508.1 <br /> 2. All ceiling tiles within 18"of the hood are required to be non-combustible. Verification is <br /> required. IMC Section 507.2.6 <br /> 3. The structure and lateral bracing supporting the hood should be detailed on the plans. <br /> IMC Section 301.15 <br /> 4. The exhaust fan should be shown with required side-hinge and flexible cable per IMC <br /> Section 506.5.3 <br /> 5. Please indicate the slope of the roof on the plans. If it is greater than 3:12, then a <br /> platform and guard complying with IMC Section 306.5.1 will be required for each new <br /> piece of roof-top appliance/equipment. <br /> 6. The equipment on the roof is shown to be greater than 16 feet above grade.
