Please review and <br /> respond to the comments below. <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the <br /> Building Division with two new sets of revised construction documents reflecting the corrections <br /> requested. Please include a response letter which indicates how the corrections were resolved. <br /> Note — the original comment is reprinted — the recheck comment is in Red. <br /> General <br /> 2. All ceiling tiles within 18" of the hood are required to be non-combustible. Verification is <br /> required. IMC Section 507.2.6 <br /> a. Please provide a listing showing that the proposed ceiling tiles are non- <br /> combustible. <br /> 5. Please indicate the slope of the roof on the plans. If it is greater than 3:12, then a <br /> platform and guard complying with IMC Section 306.5.1 will be required for each new <br /> piece of roof-top appliance/equipment. <br /> a. A structural drawing is required to show how the platform is constructed. <br /> b. Guards should be shown extending a minimum of 42" above the platform. <br /> c. Guards should be shown to not allow a 21" sphere to pass through. <br /> d. The platform and guards must be shown to support dead, live and lateral loads <br /> per the IBC.
