The following design conditions for the analysis are <br /> based on the site conditions or according to the minimum code requirements: <br /> Roof Snow load(adjusted per ASCE): 25 PSF <br /> Basic wind Speed: 110 MPH <br /> Wind Exposure/Importance: B/Iw=1.0 <br /> Seismic Site Class: D, Sds=0.935 <br /> Soil Bearing capacity: 2,000 PSF <br /> Analysis indicates that removing the section of rear wall to create the open arch into the existing <br /> residence can be done without overloading the existing shear walls within the home. Shear loading is <br /> well within acceptable limits of conventional wall framing. All of the existing outside rear walls of the <br /> home should be inspected and verified that there is continuous sheathing that is nailed per the minimum <br /> prescriptive requirements.
