Here is a brief summary of my
findings and position in the matter.
The building was originally permitted and constructed as an office building in 1982.
The building was then converted to a retail establishment in 1995.
Your photos show that an attached structure has been recently added, the addition is located on the eastern portion of
the building.
This alteration has no record of being permitted, additionally your photos reveal that the attached structure is being
used for residential purposes. Residential use of this structure is not permitted.
Additionally, your photo attachments reveal that the attached alteration is poorly constructed and does not conform to
building code standards and requirements.
Alteration of this structure has been made without permits in a manner that is in violation of code(106.1) Because of
this the building is Unlawful as defined by IPMC 108.1.4
I fully support and encourage your enforcement efforts to abate these violations.
Regards
Ted M. de Budden
416.77
Chief Inspector
Public Works
(425) 257-7271
tbudden@everettwa.gov
3200 Cedar St. Everett WA. 98201
www.everettwa.Rov
El El
NOTICE: Emails and attachments sent to and from the City of Everett are public records and may be subject to disclosure
pursuant to the Public Records Act.
From: Donald Cunningham
Sent: Friday,July 20,2018 1:12 PM
01./,,
