,
Ted de Budden
From: Ted de Budden
Sent: Friday, February 1, 2019 3:07 PM
To: Donald Cunningham; David Flake
Subject: RE: Building Permit BE1901-006/2711 Maple#B
Hello Don,
Yes,you are correct. The metal panels require additional fasteners added to secure them to the supporting tubular
structure.
Additionally, the structure itself should be anchored properly to the ground if this has not yet been completed.
The structure remains vulnerable to wind and snow loads.
Regards
OLTTed M.de Budden
Chief Inspector
Public Works
(425)257-7271
tbudden@everettwa.gov
3200 Cedar St. Everett WA.98201
www.everettwa.gov
l'i ED
NOTICE: Emails and attachments sent to and from the City of Everett are public records and may be subject to disclosure
pursuant to the Public Records Act.
From: Donald Cunningham<DCunningham@everettwa.gov>
Sent: Friday, February 1, 2019 1:47 PM
To: David Flake<david.a.flake@gmail.com>
Cc:Ted de Budden<TBudden@everettwa.gov>
Subject: Building Permit BE1901-006/2711 Maple#B
Dave—
Ted told me a permit to make the structure lawful was issued yesterday and he had received a request for inspection. I
accompanied Ted to the inspection today but there was no answer to knocking for Mr. Parent. As you know, the
structure has been reduced from its original size but the corrugated metal panels are still poorly fastened to a tubular
frame, their connections and supports are structurally deficient and the structure is vulnerable to collapse if exposed to
wind and/or snow loads. This is the description Ted provided when we last saw the structure. We could not see if Mr.
Parent has done anything to anchor the structure further as we did not walk onto the property.
