Please review and respond to the <br /> comments below. These comments address building issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be <br /> required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the 2015 <br /> International Building Code (IBC), the 2015 International Existing Building Code (IEBC), the 2015 <br /> International Property Maintenance Code (IPMC), the 2015 International Fire Code (IFC), the 2015 <br /> International Mechanical Code (IMC), and the 2015 International Energy Conservation (IECC), as <br /> amended by the State of Washington (WSEC) and adopted by the city of Everett. The current IBC <br /> referenced standard for accessible design is the 2009"Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities" <br /> (ICC/ANSI A117.1). Federal ADA, FHA, and HUD regulations and standards, including the Fair Housing <br /> Accessibility Guidelines may be more restrictive. <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the <br /> Building Division with two complete new sets of construction documents reflecting the <br /> corrections requested. <br /> 1. The plans indicate 2x @ 16"new walls. IBC, chapter 6 will only allow wood <br /> framed walls if they are fire-retardant treated. Please provide detailing for the <br /> walls. <br /> 2. The plans should include the requirement for posting of all assembly areas in <br /> accordance with IBC 1004.3. <br /> 3. Kitchen plumbing and type 1 hood permits should be added to the deferred <br /> submittal list. <br /> 4.
