Recommended Additional Geotechnical Services
Throughout this report, recommendations are provided where we consider additional geotechnical
engineering services to be appropriate. These additional services are summarized below:
■ GeoEngineers should meet with the owner and the design team as needed to discuss geotechnical
questions that may arise as the project plans become more complete.
to GeoEngineers should be retained to review the project plans and specifications when complete to
confirm that our design recommendations have been implemented as intended.
• During construction, GeoEngineers should be allowed to evaluate the suitability of the footing
subgrades, evaluate the compaction of structural fill, evaluate the condition of temporary erosion
control measures as required by the City of Issaquah and provide a letter summarizing our construction
observation services. The purposes of GeoEngineers' construction phase services are to confirm that
the subsurface conditions are consistent with those observed in the explorations and for other reasons
described in Appendix B, "Report Limitations and Guidelines for Use."
LIMITATIONS
We have prepared this report for the exclusive use of Providence Regional Medical Center Everett and their
authorized agents for the CUP West Parking Lot project in Everett,Washington.
Within the limitations of scope, schedule and budget, our services have been executed in accordance with
generally accepted practices in the field of geotechnical engineering in this area at the time this report was
prepared. No warranty or other conditions, express or implied, should be understood.
Any electronic form, facsimile or hard copy of the original document (email, text, table and/or figure), if
provided, and any attachments are only a copy of the original document. The original document is stored
by GeoEngineers, Inc.and will serve as the official document of record.
Please refer to Appendix B titled "Report Limitations and Guidelines for Use" for additional information
pertaining to use of this report.
I
REFERENCES
GeoEngineers, 2008, "Revised Geotechnical Engineering Design Report, Central Utility Plant, Providence
Everett Medical Center, Everett,Washington."
GeoEngineers, 2012.
