Preventative and spot maintenance:Manufacturer shall provide all preventative and spot <br /> maintenance,including parts and labor for 25 years from the date of equipment delivery. <br /> Individual luminaire outages shall be repaired when the outages occur,there shall be no <br /> minimum outages required before action is taken. Owner agrees to check fuses in the <br /> event of an outage. <br /> C. Warranty shall be made out to: <br /> 1. City of Everett Parks&Community Services, 802 E Mukilteo Blvd,Everett,WA <br /> 98203 <br /> PART 2—MATERIALS <br /> 2.01 LIGHTING STRUCTURE <br /> A. Existing Wood Poles(Alternate Bid D) <br /> 1. Contractor shall reuse existing wood pole structures and is to install new <br /> structural crossarm members for the new fixtures. Contractor to field verify <br /> Ilocations of existing poles as shown and indicated on the plans. <br /> B. Pole Structural Steel(Bid Alternate E) <br /> 1. Bid alternate to include removal of all existing wood light poles and luminaires. <br /> Contractor to install new steel poles in locations as recommended by the <br /> manufacture based upon the minimum lighting standards as indicated in sections <br /> 1.04 of this specification. Contractor to submit pole locations and layouts with <br /> lighting level design and spill and glare analysis as part of the Bid Alternate. <br /> 2. The wind loading on the pole and all attachments shall be based upon 2015 <br /> IBC110 mph, exposure C. <br /> 3. The pole manufacturer shall provide complete pole and foundation calculations, <br /> prepared and sealed by a Structural Engineer,licensed in the State of <br /> Washington. <br /> 4. The poles shall be designed to provide a mounting height above the surface at its <br /> foundation of no more than 80' and to be of sufficient strength to supports the <br /> effective projected area(EPA)of the pole and all of the attached devices <br /> including,as applicable, light fixtures,crossarms,mounting brackets,ballast <br /> boxes and any other devices which are to be attached to the pole. <br /> ' 5. The pole shafts shall be high strength low alloy tapered tubular steel that is equal <br /> to current ASTM A595 standards, with galvanized coating inside and out.
