e <br /> WHEREAS , it now appears to the City Council of the <br /> City of Everett, that the portion of said street resolved <br /> to be vacated should be vacated, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> SECTION I : That portion of the unnamed street in the Replat <br /> of Tract 1, Rucker Park Addition to Everett, according to the <br /> plat thereof recorded in Volume 8 of Plats , page 25, Records <br /> of Snohomish County, Washington, lying between 33rd Street and <br /> Northerly and Westerly of the following described line: Be- <br /> ginning at the Northeast corner of Lot E of said plat; thence <br /> Westerly along the Southerly right-of-way line of said street <br /> a distance of 51. 87 feet to the point of beginning; thence angle <br /> right 90 degrees to the North line of said street, and the <br /> terminus of this description, be, and the same is hereby <br /> vacated. <br /> SECTION II : That this ordinance shall not become effective <br /> until the owners of property abutting upon the street herein <br /> described shall compensate the City of Everett in an amount <br /> equal to 1/2 the appraised value of the area herein described, <br /> said compensation being in the amount of $250 .00 . <br /> CITY OF EVERETT <br /> i4f/ <br /> Mayor <br /> Attest: <br /> C <br /> City Clerk <br /> Pased: SG pt_ 77 /Ci 1 <br /> Valid: () C ; ./ /// ) <br /> Published: QC- T .
