• ' G `/97 7 3-: <br /> ORDINANCE NO. / <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending Everett City Code Section <br /> 15. 04. 040 (Ordinance No. 3965, Section 2), <br /> dealing with zoning and the division of the City of <br /> Everett into categories of zones. <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Everett held public hearings <br /> on the 21st day of December, 1971, and made recommendations to the City Council <br /> proposing certain changes in the zoning ordinance, and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett did approve said recommendation, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That Everett City Code, Section 15. 04. 040 (Ordinance No. 3965, <br /> Section 2) is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "15. 04. 040 Mapped zones established. For the purpose of this chapter, <br /> the City of Everett is hereby divided into fourteen categories of zones <br /> designated as follows: <br /> Agricultural use zone A-1 <br /> Single-family suburban residential <br /> zone R-S <br /> Single-family low density residence <br /> zone R-1 <br /> Single-family high density residence <br /> zone R-2 <br /> Multiple-family low density residence <br /> zone R-3 <br /> Multiple-family high density residence <br /> zone R-4 <br /> Core Area Residential Zone R-5 <br /> Neighborhood shopping zone B-1 <br /> Community shopping zone B-2 <br /> Central business zone B-3 <br /> General commercial zone C-1 <br /> Heavy commercial--light manufact- <br /> uring zone C-2 <br /> Heavy manufacturing zone M-1 <br /> Landing field zone L-F <br /> The above categories of zones and the boundaries of such zones are hereby <br /> established as shown on the map entitled 'Everett Zoning Map. ' Said map <br /> or parts thereof are hereby made a part of this chapter. The zoning map <br /> and each amendment thereto, when duly certified, shall be filed in the office <br /> of the city clerk. <br /> Where uncertainty exists as to any of such boundaries, as shown on said map, <br /> the following rules shall apply: <br /> A. Where such boundaries are indicated as approximately <br /> following the centerline of roads, streets, highways, alleys, railroads <br /> or streams, such centerline shall be construed to be such boundaries. <br /> B. Where such boundaries are indicated as approximately <br /> following lot or tract lines, such lot or tract shall be construed to be such <br /> boundaries. <br /> C. Tidelands; tidal flats; that portion of Puget Sound including <br /> that part commonly called Port Gardner Bay, adjacent to the city of Everett, <br /> and that portion of the Snohomish River adjacent to the city of Everett <br /> between the uplands fronting thereon and over any tidelands or shorelands <br />
