It is important to us and to our customers that the public water system delivers high quality potable wa[er in all cases. City of Everett records indicate that this building is served by a 6-iach single check-valve A double check detector is required by the State of Washington for commr_rcial fire services. To comply with state requirements, the city requires the upgrade of the sin�le check-valve to a double check detedor assembly when the commercial building sprinkler syste n is modified through the ciry permit process. Please be advised that the city requires this upgrade as a part of building or sprinkler permit application for the portion of the buiiding served by the current single check valve. As the owner of this assembly, you are required to maintain it and improve it as necessary.
