I <br /> 1 9-06.17 Vacant , <br /> 2 This section, including title, is revised to read: <br /> 3 <br /> 4 9-06.17 Noise Barrier Wall Access Door <br /> 5 Access door frames shall be formed of 14-gauge steel to the size and dimensions shown in <br /> 6 the Plans. The access door frame head and jamb members shall be mitered, securely <br /> 7 welded, and ground smooth. Each head shall have two anchors and each jamb shall have <br /> 8 three anchors. The hinges shall be reinforced with 1/4-inch by 12-inch plate, width equal to <br /> 9 the full inside width of the frame. <br /> 10 1 11 Access doors shall be full flush 1-3/4-inch thick seamless doors with a polystyrene core. <br /> 12 Door faces shall be constructed with smooth seamless 14-gauge roller-levered, cold-rolled <br /> 13 steel sheet conforming to ASTM A 792 Type SS, Grade 33 minimum, Coating Designation <br /> 14 AZ55 minimum. The vertical edges shall be neat interlocked hemmed edge seam. The top <br /> 15 and bottom of the door shall be enclosed with 14-gauge channels. Mortise and <br /> 16 reinforcement for locks and hinges shall be 10-gauge steel. Welded top cap shall be <br /> 17 ground and filled for exterior applications. The bottom channel shall have weep holes. <br /> 18 <br /> 19 Each access door shall have three hinges. Access door hinges shall be ASTM A 276 Type <br /> 20 316 stainless steel, 4-1A-inches square, with stainless steel ball bearing and non-removable <br /> 21 pins. <br /> 22 <br /> 23 Each access door shall have two pull plates. The pull plates shall be ASTM A 240 Type <br /> 24 316 stainless steel, with a grip handle of one-inch diameter and 8 to 10-inches in length. <br /> 25 <br /> 26 The door assembly shall be fabricated and assembled as a complete unit including all I <br /> 27 hardware specified prior to shipment. <br /> 28 <br /> 29 9-06.18 Metal Bridge Railing <br /> 30 The second sentence of the first paragraph is revised to read: <br /> 31 <br /> 32 Steel used for metal railings, when galvanized after fabrication in accordance with AASHTO <br /> 33 M111, shall have a controlled silicon content of either 0.00 to 0.06 percent or 0.15 to 0.25 <br /> 34 percent. <br /> 35 <br /> 36 Section 9-07, Reinforcing Steel <br /> 37 January 7, 2019 <br /> 38 9-07.5(1) Epoxy-Coated Dowel Bars (for Cement Concrete Rehabilitation) <br /> 39 This section (including title) is revised to read: <br /> 40 <br /> 41 9-07.5(1) Dowel Bars for Cement Concrete Pavement Rehabilitation <br /> 42 Dowel bars for Cement Concrete Pavement Rehabilitation shall be 1'/2 inch outside <br /> 43 diameter plain round steel bars or tubular bars 18 inches in length and meet the <br /> 44 requirements of one of the following dowel bar types: <br /> 45 <br /> 46 1.
