I1 All concrete, except lean concrete, shall be batched in a prequalified manual, semi- <br /> 2 automatic, or automatic plant as described in Section 6-02.3(4)A. <br /> I <br /> 3 <br /> 4 6-02.3(4)0 Temperature and Time For Placement <br /> 5 The following is inserted after the first sentence of the first paragraph: <br /> II6 <br /> 7 The upper temperature limit for placement for Class 4000D concrete may be increased to a <br /> 8 maximum of 80°F if allowed by the Engineer. <br /> 9 <br /> ' 10 6-02.3(5)C Conformance to Mix Design <br /> 11 Item number 1 of the second paragraph is revised to read: <br /> 12 <br /> I13 1. Cement weight plus 5 percent or minus 1 percent of that specified in the mix design. <br /> 14 <br /> 15 6-02.3(6)A1 Hot Weather Protection <br /> I16 The first paragraph is revised to read: <br /> 17 <br /> 18 The Contractor shall provide concrete within the specified temperature limits.
