The gaps shall be cleaned and prepared in accordance <br /> 37 with SSPC-SP6. The cleaned gap shall be treated with rust penetrating sealer, prime <br /> 38 coated, and then caulked to form a watertight seal along the top edge and the two sides of <br /> 39 the steel pieces involved, using the rust penetrating sealer and caulk as accepted by the <br /> 40 Engineer.
