111 <br /> City of Everett 01 5000 - 1 <br /> 2019 Biosolids Removal UT3705-2 <br /> I <br /> SECTION 01 5000 -TEMPORARY FACILITIES AND CONTROLS <br /> PART 1 - GENERAL <br /> 1.1 SECTION INCLUDES <br /> A. This work includes furnishing, installing, operating, maintaining, and removal of <br /> temporary construction facilities. <br /> 1.2 TEMPORARY FACILITIES <br /> A. Meals and Lodging <br /> 1. The Owner will not provide meal and lodging facilities for the Contractor's <br /> personnel. <br /> B. The Contractor shall make all necessary arrangements for a temporary potable water <br /> service. City has non-potable water at the site for wash-down and site cleaning. <br /> Contractor is responsible for determining if this water source is adequate for his/her <br /> operational needs. Water supply in excess of that provided by City shall be the <br /> responsibility of Contractor. <br /> C. Electric Power <br /> 1. The Contractor shall make all necessary arrangements for temporary electrical <br /> service. City has provided 1200-amp 3-phase power to the site. Contractor is <br /> ' responsible for providing licensed and qualified personnel to connect to power as <br /> well as all necessary equipment. <br /> 2. Electrical power needed in excess of that provided by City shall be the <br /> responsibility of Contractor. <br /> D. Toilet Facilities <br /> 1. The Contractor shall provide and maintain adequate chemical toilet facilities for all <br /> The Contractor shall I 1 and 1.1 <br /> individuals connected with the work. <br /> 2. Portable toilets to be positioned in locations where they will not pose a health <br /> problem or obstruct entry into the facility. <br /> 3. The Contractor shall ensure portable toilets have the ability to be locked and <br /> secured as to prevent unauthorized use and vandalism. <br /> 4. The Contractor shall keep the toilet facilities in sanitary condition in accordance <br /> with the Snohomish County Health Department. <br /> 5. The Contractor shall remove the toilet facilities at completion of the contract and <br /> shall disinfect the premises. <br /> E. Telephone Service: The Contractor shall make arrangements for temporary telephone <br /> service. All costs thereof shall be borne by the Contractor. <br /> F. The Contractor shall maintain the construction area in a neat and orderly condition <br /> throughout the contract.
