Pre-Demolition Regulated Building Materials Assessment and Cost Estimate irerracon <br /> 2600 Federal Avenue • Everett, Washington <br /> July 3, 2019 •Terracon Proposal No. P81197291 <br /> presence or absence of asbestos. <br /> In conducting the cost estimate, Terracon will: <br /> ■ Provide a rough order of magnitude (ROM) cost estimate for pre-demolition removal of <br /> asbestos and other regulated building materials at the Former Water Treatment Facility <br /> located at 2600 Federal Avenue in Everett, Washington. The removal estimate will provide <br /> a professional opinion based on the findings of our regulated building materials <br /> assessment report prepared for the City of Everett and on our experience on similar <br /> projects. The estimates include asbestos abatement, removal of fluorescent light tubes, <br /> and HID lamps, and lead paint controls. The estimates do not include general building <br /> demolition. <br /> KEY UNDERSTANDINGS <br /> Schedule <br /> The above scope of services may begin following receipt of the executed City of Everett <br /> Professional Services Agreement (PSA) provided that site access can be obtained following <br /> execution. The final RBM assessment report will be provided to the Client within ten days of <br /> receiving final laboratory results. <br /> Conditions and Assumptions <br /> Terracon assumes the following conditions and items to be provided by the Client include: <br /> • The legal right-of-entry to conduct the RBM assessment. <br /> • Notification to occupants and employees, as applicable. <br /> • Any restrictions or special access requirements regarding the site shall be made known to <br /> Terracon prior to site mobilization. <br /> • Client will provide, if available, building plans in AutoCAD or another electronic format. <br /> • Any known environmental conditions at the site (i.e., hazardous materials or processes, <br /> specialized protective equipment requirements, unsound structural members, etc.) shall <br /> also be communicated to Terracon prior to site mobilization. <br /> • Terracon will bring in additional lighting due to lack of power and lighting on site. <br /> u The Client will provide a designated a point of contact to Terracon, while work is ongoing <br /> at the site. <br /> Responsive • Resourceful • Reliable 5 <br />
