ORDINANCE NO. / 7 - / <br /> AN ORDINANCE providing for the vacation of <br /> a portion of the Northeast quarter of the <br /> Southwest quarter, Section 31, Township 29 <br /> North, range 5 East W.M. , ;of Fowler Avenue <br /> of the City of Everett. <br /> WHEREAS, the owners of more than two-thirds of the private property <br /> abutting upon the streets above described have duly filed a petition with the <br /> City Council of the City of Everett praying for vacation of said street, and, <br /> WHEREAS, said City Council of the City of Everett did by resolution <br /> duly adopted, fix the 15th day of December, 1971, at 10:00 a.m. of said day <br /> for the hearing and determination of said petition, and, <br /> WHEREAS, due and legal notice of the time and place of said hearing <br /> and the determination of said petition has been given by the City Clerk in <br /> the manner prescribed by law, and, <br /> WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for hearing favorable statements <br /> and objections to the vacating of the herein described streets and alleys were <br /> heard and discussed, and, <br /> WHEREAS, it now appears to the City Council of the City of Everett <br /> that the portion of said street petitioned to be vacated should be vacated, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That the street of the City of Everett, County of <br /> Snohomish, State of Washington, described as follows to wit : <br /> The portion of the Northeast quarter of the Southwest <br /> quarter, Section 31, Township 29 North, Range 5 East, <br /> W.M. , described as follows : beginning at the intersection <br /> of the East line of Fowler Avenue and the South line of <br /> said Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter, thence <br /> South 89°14'00" West along said South line for 54.21 <br /> feet; thence angle 136°30'31" right to become tangent <br /> to a curve; thence on a curve to the left having a radius <br /> of 330.00 feet and containing an angle of 4°04' 05" for <br /> • 23.43 feet to a point of compound curve; thence on a <br /> curve to the left having a radius of 130.00 feet and con- <br /> taining an angle of 44°26'26" for 100.83 feet to the <br /> East right-of-way margin of Fowler Avenue; thence South <br /> 2°46'00" East along said East right-of-way margin for <br /> 109.05 feet to the point of beginning. <br /> be, and the same is hereby vacated.
