, 7M ORDINANCE NO. /69- i/ AN 69- AN ORDINANCE approving and confirming the assessments and assessment roll of Local Improvement District No. 691, which was created for the improvement of: (1) Casino Road (86th St. S.W. ) from Airport Road easterly to the easterly line of Lot 40, Beverly Berry Tracts, Division No. 2, and (2) Loganberry Lane (18th Ave. W. ) from Casino Road south for 600 feet by the construction of 8-inch sanitary sewers together with the necessary appurtenances, as provided by Ordinance No. 98-70, and levying and assessing the amount thereof against the several lots, tracts, parcels of land and other property shown on said roll, and excluding the cost of engineering and Clerk's and Treasurer's fees from the final cost and expense assessed against the property. WHEREAS, the assessment roll levying the special assessments against properties located in Local Improvement District No. 691 in the City of Everett, Washington, created under Ordinance No. 98-70 has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Everett, Washington, as provided by law; and WHEREAS, notice of the time and place of hearing thereon and of making objections and protests to said roll was duly published at and for the time and in the manner provided by law, fixing the time and place of hearing thereon for the 29th day of September, 1971, at the hour of 10:00 a. m. (PST), in the Council Chambers in the City Hall, Everett, Washington, and further notice thereof was duly mailed by the City Clerk to each property owner shown on said roll; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed and designated in said notice, the hearing was duly held and all written protests received were duly considered and all persons requesting to be heard at said hearing having been heard and the City Council being fully advised in the premises, and WHEREAS, during the course of construction of the said sewer line improvement certain field conditions were discovered which required substantial alteration of the construction plans and installation of the sewer line at reduced grades causing increase in the cost of the project in excess of the preliminary estimate, and WHEREAS, because of the increase in costs, the City wishes to reduce the final cost and expense of the said local improvement district by excluding the cost of engineering and Clerk's and Treasurer's fees, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: The assessments and assessment roll of Local Improvement District No. 691, which has been created and established for the purpose of the improvement of (1) Casino Road (86th St. S.W. ) from Airport Road easterly to the easterly line of Lot 40, Beverly Berry Tracts, Division No. 2, and (2) Loganberry Lane (18th Ave. W. ) from Casino Road south for 600 feet by the construction of 8-inch sanitary sewers together with the necessary appurtenances, as provided by Ordinance
