C. C. 1. 48. 010 and E. C. C. <br /> 1. 48. 040) <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: Section 1 of Ordinance 55-69 (E. C. C. 1. 48. 010) is hereby <br /> amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 1: All City employees, except fire fighters working <br /> a 42-hour average work week, and fire department day <br /> personnel and fire dispatchers who were entitled to eighteen <br /> (18) working days of vacation as of January 1, 1971, shall <br /> accrue vacation credit for each month of continuous service <br /> as shown on the table below: <br /> CONTINUOUS SERVICE VACATION CREDIT ACCRUED <br /> FROM EMPLOYEE Number of Work Days <br /> ANNIVERSARY DATE per Month per Year <br /> 1st year 1 day 12 days <br /> 2nd year 1-1/12 days 13 days <br /> 3rd & 4th years 1-1/6 days 14 days <br /> 5th year 1-1/4 days 15 days <br /> 6th & 7th years 1-1/3 days 16 days <br /> 8th & 9th years 1-5/12 days 17 days <br /> 10th through 19th years 1-1/2 days 18 days <br /> 20th year and beyond 1-2/3 days 20 days <br /> 'Continuous service' shall be determined from the employee's <br /> anniversary date of entering City employment. " <br /> Section 2: Section 4 of Ordinance 55-69 (E. C. C. 1. 48. 040) is hereby <br /> amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 4: Neither probationary employees without permanent <br /> civil service status nor temporary employees are entitled to take <br /> vacation leave. A probationary employee will earn vacation <br /> credit which shall be credited to him when he becomes a regular <br /> employee.
