C. C. 1. 52. 110) <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: Ordinance No. 56-69, Section 3 (E. C. C. 1. 52. 110) is <br /> hereby amended in full to read hereafter as follows: <br /> "Section 3: When death occurs among members of an employee's <br /> immediate family, the employee, upon request to his department head, <br /> will be granted reasonably necessary time off to assist with <br /> funeral arrangements, if necessary, and to attend the funeral <br /> service, and will be compensated at his normal salary for the <br /> hours lost from his regular schedule, before or after the <br /> funeral, with the maximum of four days' allowance, if working. <br /> This time off shall not be deducted from accumulated sick <br /> leave or vacation. 'Members of an employee's immediate <br /> family' shall be defined as: employee's spouse, mother, father, <br /> grandparents, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, mother-in-law <br /> and father-in-law.
