I Y 7- 7,/ <br /> j 4 . t <br /> ' 4 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. ,7Z-/ = 7 ( <br /> AN ORDINANCE providing that where an employee's <br /> base salary was greater under a previous salary <br /> schedule than the base salary provided in Ordinance <br /> 117-71, such employee shall continue to receive <br /> the previous base pay, providing exceptions and <br /> amending subsection B(I) of Section 2, Ordinance <br /> 117-71. <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: Subsection B(I) of Section 2, Ordinance No. 117-71, <br /> is hereby amended to read in full as follows: <br /> "Any employee whose base salary under a previous <br /> schedule is greater than the base salary provided <br /> in the schedule contained in this ordinance shall <br /> continue to receive the previous base pay; provided, <br /> however, that an employee working in a classification <br /> designated to be in a salary range prefaced by <br /> range number D or E shall continue to receive the <br /> previous base pay in accordance with a previous <br /> salary schedule only if the Mayor has not set the <br /> salary within the limits of salary range D and E <br /> as provided in Section 2(c) of this ordinance.
