The new paint booth project addresses <br /> installation of a new prefabricated paint booth assembly. Structural tasks to support this project <br /> include: <br /> • Foundation design for the new structure. <br /> • Tie of new foundation to adjacent slab. <br /> For the initial submittal,reinforcing for the slab was assumed to meet a structural member minimum <br /> shrinkage and temperature reinforcing ratio of 0.0018,but this was increased to a ratio of 0.0033 to ensure <br /> flexible behavior for seismic loads. This a typical range for structural concrete subject to bending. Note <br /> that seismic load information has not been provided at the time of the design.
