Both buildings will need a building permit and on that application you can add in the necessary plumbing and/or mechanical items associated. If the perimeter trench drain and/or sump is external to the canopy foundation, a public works permit will be needed.Also, if the concrete slab being poured extends beyond the foundation footprint, a public works permit is needed. We know the third (and largest) building will require a PW permit since it will trigger drainage requirements. Here is the project description for the two: • Building No.45-62: Construct a 38'x 55' pre-engineered skydrol mule storage canopy structure with concrete slab, perimeter trench drain and grating. • Building No.45-63: Construct a 20'x 20' canopy structure to be used for loading/unloading of Glycol (with sump).
