July 3, 2019 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m., <br /> July 3, 2019, in the City Council Chambers of the William E. Moore Historic City <br /> Hall, Council President Bader presiding. Upon roll call, it was found that Mayor <br /> Franklin and Council Members Roberts, Murphy, Bader, and Tuohy were present. <br /> Council Member Vogeli was expected to be late and Council Members Moore and <br /> Stonecipher were excused. <br /> Members of Scouts BSA Troop 18 led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the June 19, 2019, City Council meeting were approved as printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> APPOINTMENT—CITY ATTORNEY <br /> Mayor Franklin asked for Council concurrence with her appointment for City <br /> Attorney, David Hall. <br /> Moved by Council Member Roberts, seconded by Council Member Murphy, to <br /> concur with the appointment of David Hall as the City Attorney. <br /> Council members expressed their support and congratulated David Hall. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council Members <br /> Moore, Vogeli, and Stonecipher who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Council Member Vogeli entered council chambers at 6:34 p.m. <br /> OATH - POLICE OFFICER <br /> Moved by Council Member Tuohy, seconded by Council Member Murphy, to <br /> concur with the appointment of James O'Dell as a new police officer. <br /> 196 <br />
