Section 1. For the purpose of paying the costs and expenses <br /> attributable to the property owners in Local Improvement District <br /> No. 683 of the City of acquiring, constructing and installing the <br /> improvements in such district plus all costs incidental thereto, the <br /> City shall issue bonds of said district in the principal amount of <br /> $754 ,080 . 73 (hereinafter called the "Bonds" ) . <br /> The Bonds shall be dated March 15 , 1971, shall be in the <br /> denomination of $5 ,000 each except for Bond No . 1, which shall be in <br /> the denomination of $4 ,080 . 73 , shall bear interest at the rate of 7% <br /> per annum payable annually on the 15th day of March of each year, and <br /> shall mature March 15 , 1983. Both principal of and interest on the <br /> Bonds shall be payable at the office of the City Treasurer in Everett , <br /> Washington, in lawful money of the United States of America. <br /> Notice of any intended redemption of any of the Bonds prior <br /> to maturity shall be given by the City Treasurer by one publication <br /> thereof in the official City newspaper not more than twenty nor less <br /> than ten days prior to said redemption date , and by giving a like <br /> notice at the same time in writing to Foster & Marshall Inc . at its <br /> main office in Seattle , Washington. <br /> Section 2 . The Bonds shall be in substantially the following <br /> form: <br /> UNITED STATES OF AMERICA <br /> NO . $5 ,000 <br /> (No. 1 ($4 ,080 . 73) <br /> STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> CITY OF EVERETT <br /> LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO . 583 <br /> The City of Everett , a municipal corporation of the State <br /> of Washington, hereby promises to pay to bearer the sum of <br /> FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS <br /> (FOUR THOUSAND EIGHTY AND 73/100 DOLLARS ) <br /> 2 . <br />
