• . ORDINANCE NO. A44---- 7/ AN ORDINANCE allocating $5, 183. 16 from unanticipated revenues in addition to the 1971 Budget for the City of Everett' General Fund for the purpose of paying for a share of the cost and expense of Local Improvement District No. 690 and directing that said amount be credited against certain property owners incorrectly assessed within the District. WHEREAS, subsequent to confirmation and approval of the assessment roll for LID #690 it was discovered that certain property owners were assessed for more square footage than they actually owned, and WHEREAS, the total assessment roll for LID #690 was $1, 000, 000. 00 and the City Council finds that it is not in the best interest of the City to reopen the assessment roll to redistribute the error which amounts to $5, 183. 16, and WHEREAS, to retain credibility on future local improvement districts, and to correct an admitted error of the City Administration, the City Council finds that the following properties have been incorrectly assessed in the following amounts: Original Corrected Change Assessment Assessment in Inc.
